What is RSE Day?

RSE Day is a day to celebrate great Relationships and Sex Education in schools and other settings.  RSE Day takes place on the last Thursday in June each year, this year it will be held on Thursday 30 June.

RSE Day began in Nottingham in June 2018 and continues to be run by Nottingham City Council in collaboration with our sponsors.

RSE Day is an opportunity to share good practice, reflect on successes and areas for development and be creative with RSE content and delivery.
Our headline sponsor for RSE Day 2022 is:

Virtual RSE Day!

This year we are once again creating some online content for RSE Day, taking the best bits from the livestreams of the last two years.

There will be an opening assembly from our headline sponsor Discovery Education Health and Relationships launching the RSE Day national task.  You can find details of the national task here.

We will then have two live check-ins where our host, Jon, will review all the action happening up and down the country. These will be at 11.30 and 2.15pm.  This is your opportunity for a shout-out to share your activities!   Jon will be sharing examples of how people are celebrating the day.  You can request a shout-out here.
