The theme for this year's RSE Day is 'Embracing Change'. We chose this theme as it relates to so many aspects of relationships and sex education.
Our resources have focused on the following aspects of change:
- Changing families
- Changing friendships
- Changing bodies
- Changing minds
- Changing school
Embracing change means being open to and accepting of the inevitability of change, in whatever way it presents. It involves adopting a positive attitude and mindset towards change rather than resisting or fearing it. We want children to embrace change by being flexible, adaptable, and willing to learn and grow from new experiences and challenges.
