Best Garden Competition

Best Garden Competition

Entries for this year's Best Garden Competition are now open!

Each year, we're wowed by the range of gardens we see entered - and whether you've been gardening for years, starting for the first time, or whether you've a garden of your own or an outdoor space that you use - there's a category for everyone and we'd love to celebrate what you're doing!

And if you need some inspiration, take a look at the photos of the 2024 competition winning gardens, here.

There are a range of different categories you can enter:

Best wildlife garden
Best community garden
Best edible garden
Best floral display
Best small / container garden
Inspirational gardener of the year
Best young gardener (aged 18 or under at time of entry)

Best overall garden

All of the category winners will be judged together to award a Best overall garden award.

Great prizes!

Each category winner will receive a trophy, a certificate and a £30 gardening voucher to spend at Woodthorpe Park Plant Nursery. Runners up will get a certificate and a £20 voucher.
